You've registered for #PDC10 right?

Just a quick reminder that PDC is at the Redmond Campus (October 28th and 29th) this year. You’ll be so close to the beating heart of the product engineering teams that you’ll be able to smell the dye from the small factory that makes the Gu’s polo shirts... or some such.

If you’re not going, it’ll be online of course. But if you are, get in there as it will be sold out quick.

At Microsoft #webcamps this Saturday

Those nice chaps from Microsoft HQ have been staging Webcamps across the world in the past few weeks. We have our very own starting tomorrow which sold out very quickly.

If you're heading to the event, a few of the team will be there: @mtaulty, @mikeormond, @saraallison and @markjo (sporting a rather excellent Noel Edmonds-esque beard) on Friday and myself, @mtaulty, @markjo on Saturday with some assistance from Mark Rae and Saqib Shaikh - some excellent web ninjas.

Hope to see you there. Ask me anything. I won't know the answer, but someone else will and I'll take your photo and chat amiably whilst you try to catch their attention...

PDC 09

Microsoft PDC 09 is happening on November 17-19 in Los Angeles.   You know you should be there... of course you should. Well, if you sign up between now and September 15th then you can save $500 on the usual price.

There's a continuous stream of information on the site: keynotes are from Ray Ozzie and Bob Muglia. The session list is getting there too. I always get a little concerned when 3 of the first 6 or so sessions on the first page are of interest - a logistics nightmare for the excited developer.

What can you expect? .NET 4, Silverlight futures, Visual Studio, Windows 7 and on and on.

Unfortunately for me, Baby 2 is due very early December so it might be too close for comfort for me. I may have to wait for MIX (by which I'm probably craving a few days in Vegas!).
